I'm so glad I started pestering people for names. When you've been greeting someone as "Uncle Bill" all your life, you tend to forget Uncle Bill's full name. =) No one knows Uncle Bill's last name, at least 5 people have told me he's a British dude and W was named after him. I said, "if we don't know, just put 'Smith'". =)
I'm getting better at reading scratchy Chinese handwriting though. A few years ago, I couldn't read anything except my Dad's printing. Even then, he had to write really big and really neatly as if he were writing it for a 3 year old. But tonight, I managed to transcribe most of the Chinese names on Fiance Guy's family side of the guest list from quick note-form writing the height of 14pt. print. =)
