Weird Food Cravings

I have this insane craving for brussel sprouts. I'm about the only creature in the Universe who likes and craves brussel sprouts. Plain boiled, no sauce, dip or any other kind of flavouring on them. Sometimes, I'll put a little mayonnaise on them, but I usually eat them just by themselves.

I also like chicken marrow. Every time we get chicken, I'll eat the meat, then hack up the bone with my teeth to get at the marrow inside. Bungo always looks at me sideways when I have a plate full of chicken bone splinters.

Pork liver. Especially, unseasoned, thrown into Hot Pot and eaten plain.

Chicken hearts. Jelly-fish. Though I don't have these very often.

i was all ready to be grossed out when i clicked the little link, but, nah, thats normal stuff (well, after living in china for 6 months, and going back for more..)

silk worm (barbecued, of course), chicken feet/head/heart, snake, duck tongue...

hehe, im sure youve heard of it too (normal stuff in china), but, i just like to gross people out with stuff i've tried. tee hee!

i do have an intense craving for hot pot now though.

what kind of sauce do you eat with hot pot? in Harbin, theres this stuff called ma-jiang (i could be compleltly wrong, thats what it sounds like) that is thick and brownish. do you know of it?

We use a raw egg with a Chinese barbecue sauce, soy sauce, finely chopped cilantro and green onion.

I'm not sure what "ma jiang" could be (there are a lot of thick brownish sauces in our cupboards) =)
