Random Headache Babbling

</td>
weather: sunny
mood: headachy
music: Enya - Athair Ar Neamh

It's a beautiful day out today. Too bad I have a headache. Come to think of it, I haven't had a headache in a long time... the last of them would have been from caffeine withdrawal when I stopped drinking coffee and tea sometime late last year.

It feels like a fatigue headache, my eyes are also wind-swept and I'm having trouble keeping them open for very long without blinking... which I don't really understand because I had a long weekend, I slept in every morning, I got my rest.

I wonder if this would still be the case if I had 3 day weekends every week like a certain co-worker of mine. He has an arrangement with the company that he gets one extra day off in exchange for 80% of his salary. It's 20% less money for 50% more weekend. It's a pretty sweet deal if your salary is big enough to begin with. He can afford it with what I'm guessing is his salary range. I couldn't do that with mine right now =O But it's definitely something to keep in mind for the future though.

Anyway, this could also be a boredom headache. I used to always get those on weekends, especially Sunday mornings. And they would always go away as soon as I headed off to my Sunday afternoon shifts at Baskin-Robbins. But I'm already at work and working now, so what's up with that? =P

Blue Water Café

weather: sunny
mood: okay
music: Savage Garden - I Knew I Loved You

We took my parents to Blue Water Café last night. I thought it would be quite busy on a holiday evening, but it wasn't.

My parents both wanted to try the Crab & Prawn dinner, I had the Wild Salmon and Husband Guy went for the Angus Beef steak. It was nice to try once, but I don't feel like going back because it's very very pricey. Their entrées were between (CDN)$20-$30 each.

But, if you don't mind the price, need a quiet place to talk (on a weekday evening) and good service, then it's a good place to go.

Soccer Pool: Final Results

</td>
weather: sunny
mood: okay
music: Vanessa Williams - Save The Best For Last

I finished 12th out of 30 entrants in the company Soccer Pool. =P I didn't do well enough to win anything. But I did much better than some people who were way ahead of me at one point, so I don't feel so bad =)
