Stuff to Write About

weather: raining
outside: 15°C
mood: rushed
music: Ben Heppner - Die Frau ohne Schatten, Act II Scene Change (Strauss)
I have stuff to write about, but I have to get ready for my company luncheon thing. They're feeding the Husband Guy AND me again today =)

<input ... >  birthday
<input ... >  car
<input ... >  Boathouse
<input ... >  背朝天
<input ... >  Waterpoint Dining Lounge

I won't say "remind me to write about this" because that's my own trick =D Whenever someone says "remind me to do X", I'll immediately blurt out "DO X!!!" right away. That way, I have done my reminding duty and am absolved of all responsibility. If you still forget, then it's your duh.

Strangers and new friends learn very quickly to never ask me to remind them of anything. My Mom still falls for this, every time. =)

The TSX

weather: sunny
outside: 17°C
mood: crushed
music: Bryn Terfel - Bugail Aberdyfi
Two weeks. Two weeks. We've only had the TSX for two weeks, it's not even broken in yet and some Fuck-Wad Supreme smushed into it.

There's a guy that the dealership goes to, to fix up trade-in cars for the showroom. We'll call him tomorrow. It'll probably be a few hundred dollars. *sigh*

It happened during the day on Friday. I didn't notice it when I came out because it was dark by that time. There's a patch of paint scraped off the bumper. We figure it's probably not the SUV that's assigned to the spot beside us. If the SUV did it, the scrape should be much higher up.

At least it's on the bumper and not the body, but it still hurts.

Company Luncheon

weather: sunny
outside: 17°C
mood: blah
music: Joan Sutherland - Hamlet, A vos jeux, mes amis (Thomas)
Well, that was really dorky.

For the longest time, when someone said "The Boathouse Restaurant", that meant the one on the corner of Denman and Beach Avenue in the area known as English Bay.

Apparently, there are at least five Boathouse restaurants in the Lower Mainland now. There's the one at English Bay; one in Richmond; one in White Rock; one at New Westminster Quay; one at Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver.

We both assumed it was the English Bay Boathouse. We were supposed to be at the Horseshoe Bay Boathouse ... oopsie. It would have taken way too long to get out there, so we decided not to go. I'll apologize to Office Manager Lady tomorrow. =P

We ended up just going to the mall for Butter Chicken instead. We hadn't had that in a long time and we wanted to hang around the mall again.
