From LJMatch:

What is my Journal List?

If you decide you like someone, you can unlock their journal for posting, thus moving them from your Hot List to your Journal List, where you will have full access to posting to their LiveJournal. From then on, it's your job to introduce yourself and hope that sparks fly! They also won't show up in any more of your LJMatch searches.

WHAT?!?!

[Update - 2300h]

Yes, it was poor wording. I sent her a calm panic note to please delete, but apparently, she's been panicked at all day... poor girl. =)

She's re-writing it now. You just get the URL to the person's LJ. I kinda thought maybe that at first too, but seeing as how everyone signs up with their LJ usernames, it would be obvious what the person's LJ URL would be. That combined with the words "unlock" and "full access to posting to their LiveJournal" was scary.

Sounds like they just chose poor words....

Not having entered my name for a relatively obvious email harvester like LJmatch, I'm not entirely sure on their setup, but here are my assumptions...

You fill out their little questionairre and they match you up with people on your friends list who you "match".... they're on your "Hot List" at that point. With the click of a link, they add that person to your LJ Friends list. No more, no less, I presume.

Any more would be something to pose to The Brad.

Re:
haha yes "full access to their Live Journal" is quite a frightening idea. Especially with some of the people I have MET on live journal ;-) *big sigh of relief*

I still don't get it... Please post the re-worded version because I'm still getting the impression that if someone "likes" me they can write in my LiveJournal.

Re:
If someone "likes" you, they get "http://www.livejournal.com/~ugly_boy". That's all the extra information they get.
