Somebody on my friends list — I think it was ducks — was wondering what all their friends' voices sounded like. So, here you go. =)

Found this thing called Audblog. Someone on my FriendsFriends list was tootin' around with it, so I decided to give it a try as well. You phone this service and just say what you want to log like you're leaving a message for yourself.

I'm not entirely sure if I like this. You're giving someone else your phone number (for ID) and your LJ password, so I dunno. And y'know, I really do like my voice much better with it echoing around in my head.

Okay, I think my 60 seconds is up, so I'm going to go back to the Rearranging Electrons Method.

Just a hint.

Interesting \=) I wonder how much of that is from knowing I'm Chinese...

Re: dee-eng-ay & just call him "Bill"

Heeheehee, I know exactly what that's like =D

I think Bill's real name had a lot of odd consonants and not a lot of vowels. Qingtian or Guoxin or something like that. You see why we called him Bill. :)

We also had a TA named Wei Pei, who despite his annoyance we always called by his full name because yelling "Um, Wei?" across a lab seemed weird. Plus Wei Pei rhymed, at least the way we pronounced it. :)

Dr. Zhang's lab is entirely Chinese or Indian. You wander past there (I work on the same floor) and they NEVER converse in english. It's just a flood of Chinese, and no I couldn't tell you which dialect. :)
