Incredibly Untravelled

weather: drizzling
outside: 10°C
mood: amused
Not sure what I'm doing filling out the Where Have You Been Meme when I'm not very well-travelled:

Calgary is as far East I have been in Canada. I really need to do the train trip or RV trip across Canada and see my own bloody country. I want to stick my foot in the water off the coast of P.E.I. I did the Rocky Mountain tour, so Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper (Columbia ice fields), Calgary (up the tower and back down again), a whole bunch of southeastern BC towns like Revelstoke, Golden, etc. On the island, I've been to Victoria plenty and I've been up to Qualicuum Beach.

Purple is where I have actually been and taken a piss, as defined by emyrs here. =) Washington, Oregon and California are nearly obligatory for a West Coastie. I've run up and down the coast many many times. San Francisco is as far south as I've been.

I was in Maryland doing onsite work for Baltimore Gas & Electric (project code: BGE; pronounced "buggy"). I was in Boca Raton, Florida for training and I drove from Boca Raton to Orlando, then back to Ft. Lauderdale to catch my flight home. And I went to Lost Wages in 1996 w/ kat_box.

Dark yellow is where all my layovers were. ORD (Chicago-O'Hare), which I hope is in Illinois... *google* Yes, it is =) DFW (Dallas-Ft. Worth). PHX (Phoenix, AZ) on the flight back from Vegas.

I did a China trip in 1998 — Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong. I was in Tokyo for about a week over New Years 2001 on the way to Taiwan to see </a></b></a>'s family there.

I haven't been to Europe at all yet... almost sent to either Belgium or Copenhagen on business, but that didn't happen. I haven't been anywhere in Southeast Asia. I need to see Australia and New Zealand.

Teehee...I find it funny that I've been to more cities in China that I have in the US :) That's why I didn't bother doing the meme. Haven't been east of MN, (well, Wisconsin, but that doesn't count) and well, California and Colorado are small potatoes.

Your answer to this are just so much more entertaining than mine! That map of the US that I posted..... Those are the only places I've been... minus my two day-trips to Tijuana, Mexico. That were about 10 years apart. I don't think they really even qualify as day-trips, cause I think we only stayed there for 3-4 hours each time.
