Hee, it's even prettier in the right font =)

福到康寧 - good fortune and tranquil health
年安快樂 - peace and happiness
身壯力健 - strength and health
新年恭喜 - happy new year
猴年大吉 - best wishes in the year of the monkey

For some reason, I have the right fonts installed, cuz I can see 'em as they should be (or so I assume). :)

Oh, I meant the Kai font, as opposed to the Hei font =)

If you just have the default settings, I think you'd be looking at the Hei font (squared off ends on all the strokes). The Kai font gives you the proper calligraphy brush ends =)

恭喜发财!
万事如意!
新年快乐!

Wishing you all the best in this New Year. Also, if you could help me with a question in my first CNY post? I would love some additional insight!

Aigh... I can try, but we do very very little compared to others. My parents were raised in the post-war Communist era where bourgeois habits were stomped on, so they grew up emminently practical and that's how they raised me.

There were a few things that we tried to do, so I'll see what I churn out after my software release today =)

What's "万事如意!"? Something like "may everything go as you desire"?

Re: wan shi ru yi
Um... Something like "Many everything you do come to fruition."
