Uh, kids, don't play with the Scrapbook.
As in, it cuts the text off at a certain number of characters and doesn't tell you how many. This will mess up the quasi-HTML formatting. Since you can't edit the scrapbook entry, don't be tempted to delete it and re-enter it a few times to figure out what's going on.
[Update]
Oh, the other messed up thing I did today was that I went trouncing off trying to look for interesting people who might also have joined.
I found Tim Bray - yeah, this guy: timbray. I accidently hit "Add as Friend" when I meant to just look at his profile and I removed that friend request when I realized what I did. Here's a classic example of how meaningless the "fan" thing is. You have to be a friend of someone and I think they have to friend you back as well, in order for you to be able to click on the star to mark them as an idol of yours. I am a huge fan of Tim Bray's. He doesn't even know I exist, so how could I really count him as a friend and expect him to reciprocate? Duh.
[Update]
I was thinking about it and it could be that someone clicked on "Report As Bogus" in my profile after reading a few entries back in this journal, that I wasn't taking it seriously. Well, I hadn't planned on really using it because unless you have A LOT of friends to bubble you up to the top and get noticed, it isn't going to work for you. And I don't have many friends. I did invite bdspitapit31 and if anyone asked me, I probably would invite them.
So *shrug* whatever... if that gets you suspended, then that's a little too dictatorial for me.

Okay, I think my account has been reinstated. I can do things that I couldn't last night. No word from Orkut about any of it, so I don't know what farted or flipped.
