Took Yesterday Off

Well, I didn't get as much as I wanted done, but I did get some stuff out of the way.

  1. 8:30am - Mark's Graduation (UBC)
Will's brother Mark graduated with a B.Comm. Commerce/Bus. Admin. is one of the largest faculties at UBC. They had over 1000 kids graduating and had to split the ceremony into 2. Three of the Options in one day and another three or four the next. *sigh* I don't mind people, just not in droves of 5000.

  2. Take Will to work (Yaletown)
I didn't have to do this afterall... Will felt something under his eyelid. At first, he thought it was an eyelash, but then he noticed that it didn't move. He went to the doctor to get that checked out, so I just went and did my own errands.

  3. Phoned Bailey
I chanced to call Bailey and he picked up his phone *shock* *shock*. I booked our pre-wedding videography session for June 11. The one concern I have is the stupid Vancouver weather - we get nice summer-like weather in late May, then it turns into rain-threatening clouds throughout June. We don't have a whole lot of time to cancel and re-book. Anyway, he said he'd take us to this park in North Van. that looks like Japan. Yeah, I'm confyuzzled too, but oh well...

  4. Cancel Business (Pender & Burrard)
Done. Yay. This was really retarded, I had a 3 month contract last summer, so I registered myself as a business. I'll get into the business thing later when I feel like it.

  5. Aksel's (Broadway & Cambie)
I picked up the two large pew bows. They look much better. I also paid for the favour tags.

  6. Craft Plus (Lansdowne)
Pisser. They didn't have nice arrangements. Either not big enough or too expensive or too big or too ugly.

  7. The Card Shop (Lansdowne)
Pisser. Their blank cards were ugly and their nice Thank-You cards had really cheesy text.

  8. The Bay (w/ Ivy)
  9. Dress Alterations (evening)
Didn't make it to the evening things I'd planned. We went out to dinner to celebrate Mark's graduation instead
