When we use something in the house, be it in the kitchen or some other room, we tend to leave things scattered about and we're pretty bad about cleaning up after ourselves. Fortunately, none of us get too mad at each other because we're all guilty, so we either just clean it up as we see it or tell the other person to clean up their own crap and it'll be done, no problems.

The exception to this, is if something is either 1) empty (like breakfast cereal or any other foodstuff in the house) or 2) broken (as in, the busted iron). In which case, it will get packed up very nicely, as near emulating mint condition as possible and put back in its proper storage unit and location for the NEXT sucker to come along and try to eat or use the item in question.

*SIGH* My family. XD

This would never happen in our house because PB is a neat freak and will actually follow me, to clean up after me.

Yikes ... that is a really strange behavior. Wouldn't fly in our household. If I break it, I immediately try to re-animate it via screw-drivers, tape and other assorted means. If that fails, into the trash it goes. We have enough old computer junk around the house that we dont need broken stuff cluttering up our lives too. However, if it breaks for the wife, she does pack it away in the basement and promptly buys a new item. I found at least 4 broken phones in their original boxes when we moved. -mdmhvonpa
