Google kinda knows where I am, but these walkability results are pretty funny. A Walk Score of 69 is probably too low. My neighbourhood must be closer to 80.
It doesn't know about Vancouver's public schools. Quilchena Elementary is 0.9km (0.56mi). Point Grey Secondary is 0.6km (0.37mi). Magee and Eric Hamber aren't quite within walking distance but are very do-able with transit. All three secondary schools are well known for academic excellence. But the schools that it lists are in Blaine, WA and Point Roberts =D
I count at least five places within a 0.1 mile radius where I can get coffee even without considering Evilbucks. The restaurant list is fairly accurate, although there's a lot more than that and there are four within 0.1 miles in any direction.
Generally, there are several things in each category that are a lot closer than what they have in their list.
Even though the movie theatres aren't walking distance from us, we DO have a lot of movie theatres that are a lot closer than Bellingham, thank you. =)
