They have all of that in place, which is the way it should be. I resented having to be the Evil One[tm] for trying to do things right. This company does things properly, Code Management, Issue Tracking and software development process and procedure - AND QUALITY ASSURANCE is involved right from the beginning of a project. Quality software development is how they breathe.

I think they ARE using Visual Source Safe, at least partially. I have yet to figure out what they're doing with "a combination of VSS and CVS", but so long as they're using SOMETHING and they train everyone to use it the same way, I feel much better about working with them.
