Instant Water

I've had this really silly idea to sell "Instant Water" to stupid people. I was toying with the marketing aspect of it - LOOK! *hold out an empty cup* All purpose Instant Water! You JUST ADD WATER! It's only [CDN] fifty cents. Pop is usually $1.00 or more.

I'm so mean.

Well... is it even in beta yet? I want a developers discount of 40% off list, and upgrades.

"Prototype" means it's not even Alpha... well, at least you're not _supposed_ to, umm... *cough* ship *cough* the proto-*COUGH*-type *cough*

Upgrades? On consumable foodstuffs? What, do you ask the grocer for an upgrade to the apple you bought the other day?

Not even in Alpha yet? In other words you got some marketing spin. How very Cisco Systems of you. Yet, you've already priced your product, before you understand your development costs?

Lets redefine "upgrades" to mean expanded product line. As you broaden your line of product, I want to maintain my discount. Think of it as a Master Purchasing Agreement. A product expansion might be something like instant air. Of course, while you're tied up developing the water product, I could leapfrog you, and beat you to market on instant air... OkayIgottagobye!

Re: dev cost - dev costs are negligible actually. I already have prototype product stock, it's the Marketing that's still in the "let's put it on the Shopping Channel first" stage. =)

Tell you what, e-mail me your snail address and I'll send you a special promo of one of my first prototypes. =)

Re: Instant Air - "Fresh Air in a can" is already being sold in Japan. =) I don't know if they still have it though... it comes in 4 "flavours", coffee, lemon fresh and two others that I don't remember =)

Remember that "Instant Air" in Japan probably contains a product. With your borrowed Instant Air idea, I don't actually need to provide the air. You said it, the prodcution costs are neligible. Thus I'll kill them on margin as long as I can maintain volume. Sure they have a broader line of "flavors". I'll just have to market to a demographic that isn't as sophisticated. Use Walmart, Big K, and Target as my distribution chain.

My God, this is starting to sound like a "Intro To Basic Business Concepts, 101"
